In a press release published recently, Chief Minister Sheikh Shakir has warned the FSG against using military force in Galmudug.
Shakir says Galmudug faces massive security challenges. According to him, the situation could worsen thus encouraging Al-Shabaab to show up in Ahlu-Sunna secured districts, once more.
He has called on the federal government to exercise caution when tackling the problems in Galmudug.
Shakir believes FGS might feel tempted to use forces trained by Turkey and United States. He warns the government against that since it could lead to oppression of the locals and create vacuum for Al Shabaab.
