Somalia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on defense cooperation with Ethiopia.
Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur and Abraham Belay signed the MoU on behalf of Somalia and Ethiopia respectively.
Nur, the Somali Minister of Defense, was in Addis Ababa on an official visit when he signed the MoU.
Together with Belay, his Ethiopian counterpart, the two ministers expressed hope that the MoU would help in promoting peace and security in the region.
