Somaliland President to Travel to Ethiopia on Saturday

Reports from Hargeisa indicate that Somaliland President Muse Bihi Abdi will travel to Ethiopia on Saturday.

His upcoming trip to Addis Ababa is likely aimed at finalizing discussions or agreements related to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) previously signed with Ethiopia.

This follows the arrival of a Somaliland delegation, led by Foreign Minister Dr. Essa Kayd, in Addis Ababa the day before.

The MoU could involve matters of trade, security, or regional cooperation, reflecting ongoing efforts to strengthen ties between Somaliland and Ethiopia.

As Somaliland continues to seek international recognition, its relations with neighboring countries like Ethiopia remain crucial.

Further updates from these talks may provide more details on the exact scope of the agreement.
