36 Foreigners Caught Fishing in Somalia Illegally Fined $11,000 Each

A Somali court has fined 36 foreigners caught fishing in the country’s waters illegally a sum of $11,000 each.

The Benadir Regional Court fined each of the foreigners $11,000.

Furthermore, they are expected to pay compensation worth $30,000 for the fish they removed from the country’s waters.

The foreigners have been behind bars for over a  month now.
