Anti-Ethiopia protests broke out in Awdal again.
Protestors took to the streets for the second time in a few days to voice their displeasure at what Somalia calls “extreme aggression” by Ethiopia.
A few days ago, they were on the streets protesting the recent deal between Ethiopia and Somaliland.
Today, they returned to the streets for the same.
They are protesting the agreement that Ethiopia and Somaliland signed on January 1, 2024, to use and control the latter’s coastline.
Ethiopia also intends to recognize Somaliland as a nation.
