Fartaag Chairs Joint Police Programme Review Meeting in Mogadishu

Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail Fartaag chaired the Joint Police Programme review meeting in Mogadishu on Wednesday.

Fartaag chaired the meeting in his capacity as the Minister of Internal Security.

Officers from the federal and regional state governments all attended the meeting as did the country’s international partners.

The programme seeks to strengthen professionalism and accountability in the police force.

He urged all stakeholders to ensure that the programme improves peace and security for all the citizens of Somalia.
