Ali Yusuf Ali Hosh visited the headquarters of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) in Mogadishu.
Hosh, the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation, visited the SODMA offices on Wednesday.
Senior SODMA officials were on hand to welcome him.
Mahamuud Moallim, the SODMA Commissioner, joined others senior officials in welcoming the interior minister.
They briefed him on the agency’s daily operations.
Furthermore, Commissioner Moallim updated the minister on the ongoing emergency response measures around the country, especially in flood-prone places.
