Somalia’s embassy in Tanzania has announced the appointment of Ilyas Ali Hassan as the country’s non-resident ambassador to Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Malawi, Comoros, and Mauritius.
The embassy’s statement encouraged Somali citizens living in these countries to contact the diplomatic mission for any services or assistance they may require. This step signifies Somalia’s efforts to strengthen diplomatic ties and better serve its diaspora across the region
