Kismayo is the venue for this year’s information forum featuring officials from the federal and regional state governments.
Daud Aweis, the federal Minister of Information, declared the forum officially opened on Saturday.
He launched the forum jointly with Mohamud Sayid, the Vice President of the regional state of Jubbaland.
Participants at the consultation forum are expected to discuss ways of promoting radio stations across the country.
