Local water providers in Mogadishu have been urged to extend cost-effective services to their clients.
A meeting between the providers and Abdillahi Bidhan, the Minister of Energy and Water Resources, agreed on this.
The providers met with the energy and water resources minister on Monday.
Bidhan urged the providers to outline plans that guarantee the residents access to clean and cost-effective water services.
