Several homeowners in Mogadishu are in police custody after authorities arrested them for failing to pay the fee demanded for repairing rough roads.
According to sources, at least 30 homeowners, who included women, are now behind bars.
Authorities arrested them over the failure to pay a fee worth $1,500 for repairing rough roads in Mogadishu’s Wabari District.
The homeowners are to be presented in court soon.
