Mogadishu will soon be the proud host of a new police transit center.
Deputy Prime Minister Salah Jama laid the foundation stone at the site where the transit center will stand in the capital city.
The Deputy Prime Minister was together with other senior government officials.
These included the Commissioner of the Somali Police Force (SPF) as well as the Minister of Internal Security.
Jama assured residents that the center would house trainee police officers from different regions.
Moreover, police officers who are on their way out of the country for further training will spend some time at the center too.
