The federal Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development has welcomed foreign investments in Somalia’s agribusiness sector.
Mohamed Beenebeene, the planning minister, issued the call to foreign and local investors on Saturday, January 28.
“I urge foreign and local investors to invest in the country’s agribusiness sector,” Beenebeene said in his speech.
He added that such investments would enable Somalia to grow enough food for the domestic and foreign markets.
