President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud bid farewell to Somali National Army (SNA) recruits who are traveling to Turkey for advanced training.
The President bid farewell to the recruits on Monday after visiting the TurkSom military training facility in Mogadishu.
He was also at the General Dhaga-Badan and General Daud military camps.
The visit at the military training camps enabled President Mohamud to assess the preparedness of the troops for the upcoming counterterrorism operations.
President Mohamud urged the recruits traveling to Turkey to focus on their training.
