Minister of Constitutional Affairs, Salah was born in Erigavo Sanaag. He studied India and then in Canada. He has worked for the New Deal program, the Somali Police Force and served as member of the Election Commission, a member of the 10th parliament. He left his previous post (Minister of Labour and social affairs)to become the Minister of Constitutional Affairs, after the death of Abdirahman Hosh. Salah previous post is giving to Sadik Hirsi Warfa.
