Some residents of the Gedo region in Jubbaland were the proud recipients of food supplies donated by Qatar Charity.
The residents received the food donations on July 4.
Abdirahman Abdishakur, the Special Envoy for Drought Response, witnessed the distribution of the food supplies.
Hassan Bin Hamza, the Qatari Ambassador to Somalia, accompanied Abdishakur during the distribution exercise.
Residents of the Bardhere district had a reason to smile upon receiving the supplies.
Abdishakur and the Qatari Ambassador were in the region to also observe the humanitarian situation on the ground.
