Shock and outrage pervaded a Middle Shabelle after the grisly murder of a family of five.
Authorities have already identified four of the five dead people. They include Safiiya Sheikh Abukarow and Abukar Idow.
The latter is Safiya’s brother.
Others are Sheikh Muhammed Sheikh Abdi Ali and Sangabo Mohamud Hussein.
Ali is the uncle to both Safiya and Abukar while Sangabo is their grandmother. The identity of the fifth person remains unknown.
Sources believe that the five were murdered due to a clan conflict.
