The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) has asked Denmark for help with the frequent disasters that Somalia faces.

SODMA Commissioner Mahamuud Moallim made this request on Tuesday during his meeting with Steen Sonne Andersen, the Danish Ambassador to Somalia.

Apart from assistance in handling disasters, they discussed several other issues too. These included climate change and improved collaboration between SODMA and Denmark.
