The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) denies reports that it killed 24 innocent civilians in a recent drone attack in Lower Shabelle.
The government issued the statement refuting the reports from Amnesty International regarding the death of the civilians.
Abdirahman Adala, the Deputy Minister of Information, issued the denial on behalf of the government.
According to Amnesty International, those killed in the drone attack included 5 women and 14 children.
In his denial, Adala stated that the government had identified specific places where drone attacks are carried out.
