The federal parliament of Somalia will vote for amendments to the Provisional Constitution on Saturday.
A bicameral session featuring legislators from the House of the People (Lower House) and Senate (Upper House) will be held to vote for or against the amendments.
Sources revealed that today’s session has achieved the required quorum after 211 and 42 legislators from the Lower House and Upper House respectively showed up for the vote.
Legislators and Senators will vote by a show of hands.
