The soldiers removed the landmines on Friday, August 12.
Authorities believe that terrorists had buried the improvised explosive devices (IEDs) along the road between two Hiiran districts – Mahas and Mataban.
No person was injured in the exercise.
Currently, government troops have been deployed in the region to carry out counterterrorism operations.
