The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) has reiterated its commitment to the advancement of the fishing sector in the country.
Abdi Dirshe, the Director-General in the Ministry of Fisheries and Blue Economy, reassured the country of the government’s dedication to developing and promoting the sector.
Dirshe said this on Friday when he visited the National Fishing Company in Mogadishu.
Specifically, he evaluated operations at the firm’s fish processing center.
DG Dirshe assured fishermen and other stakeholders in the sector that the government is ready to avail all resources they need to thrive.
