Somalia’s Parliamentary Committee Seeks Clarification on Investment Promotion Agency Bill

A parliamentary committee has sought clarification from Somalia’s Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development on the Investment Promotion Agency Bill.

Mohamed Beenebeene, the planning minister, met the Parliamentary Committee on Investment.

His meeting with members of the House of the People (Lower House) committee was on Thursday.

During the meeting, members of the parliamentary committee sought more information on the bill from the ministry officials led by Beenebeene.

The bill is due for a review and second reading in the coming days.
