Somalia’s Special Envoy for Drought Response met with the country’s newly-approved Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre.
The meeting between the Prime Minister and Abdirahman Abdishakur took place in Mogadishu on June 25.
It only happened a few hours after the House of the People (Lower House) approved Barre’s appointment as the country’s new Prime Minister.
During their meeting, the two leaders agreed that the humanitarian situation in Somalia remains the government’s top priority.
