Somaliland has reassured international partners on elections.
On Tuesday, President Muse Bihi Abdi of Somaliland held discussions on elections with Steen Sonne Anderson.
Anderson is the new Ambassador of Denmark to Somalia.
He visited President Bihi on Tuesday.
During the meeting, they discussed several issues including the elections that President Bihi’s administration recently postponed.
President Bihi assured Ambassador Anderson that Somaliland would hold the polls soon.
The body in charge of elections in Somaliland had requested for postponement of the polls until next year.
