Speakers of both chambers of the federal parliament visited President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud in Dhusamareb.
The Somali President welcomed Speaker Sheikh Adan Madobe and Speaker Abdi Hashi visited President Mohamud on Thursday.
Madobe and Hashi are the speakers of the House of the People and Senate respectively.
Their discussions revolved around a variety of issues pertaining to the country.
Specifically, they talked about the challenges and progress of the ongoing military operations against Al-Shabaab terrorists in the country.
He extended gratitude to Speaker Madobe and Speaker Hashi for supporting the counterterrorism operations.
President Mohamud has been in Dhusamareb for the last two months.
