Turkey intends to construct yet another military training camp in Mogadishu.
Insiders believe that the new camp will be near the Police Academy in the nation’s capital.
The European nation already has another military school in the capital.
TurkSom Military Academy has been operating in Mogadishu since September 2017 when it was opened.
The academy trains Gorgor commandos, who are elite Somali National Army (SNA) forces.
The impending construction of a second training camp is the product of the recent 10-year Defense and Economic Growth agreement that Somalia signed with Turkey.
