Two Humanitarian Aid Workers Killed in Somalia between January and March

Two humanitarian aid workers were killed in Somalia in the first three months of the year.

This is according to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

The organization released these numbers in its latest report published on Monday.

Apart from the dead, several aid workers experienced varying incidents in Somalia.

Around 11 percent of the workers faced violence. Others were victims of coercion and extortion.

Incidents of harassment, intimidation, and verbal abuse were quite rampant as well.
