A veteran Somali Police Force (SPF) officer was shot and killed in a Mogadishu neighborhood on Friday afternoon.
Lieutenant Colonel Adan Bild, who has served as a police officer in the nation’s capital for years, lost his life in a shocking incident.
It is not clear why he was targeted in the shooting incident.
The gunmen who shot and killed Lt. Col. Bild remain unknown and in hiding. However, authorities have launched investigations into the officer’s murder.
