Over 1.7 million children in Somalia have been vaccinated against various ailments since the beginning of this year.
According to a report by the United Nations, the global body and its agencies have vaccinated 1.23 million Somali children as part of regular immunization campaigns.
Furthermore, the global body has partnered with the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) to immunize 500,000 children against measles.
Nevertheless, the UN has called for more efforts from different stakeholders to ensure that all children receive the necessary jabs on time.
