Fourteen soldiers and officers are in police custody following the suicide bombing reported at a military base in Mogadishu on Monday.
Abdifatah Kasim, the Deputy Minister of Defense, said this while briefing members of the federal parliament on Saturday.
He added that those arrested for the July 24 attack included soldiers and officers.
Twenty-five people lost their lives in the deadly suicide bombing carried out at Jaalle Siyaad Military Academy in Mogadishu.
Kasim added that one of those arrested for the attack is the commander of the academy.
