A new disease response program has been launched in Somalia.
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) launched the program jointly with the World Health Organization (WHO) this week.
The program has the blessings of the federal Ministry of Health too.
USAID and WHO announced that the funds would go into strengthening the coordination, surveillance, and response to disease outbreaks around the nation.
