Over 2 million women and children in Somalia remain at risk of malnutrition.
The World Food Programme (WFP) announced this in its latest report.
WFP stated that the problem is severe primarily because of food insecurity.
According to WFP, food insecurity is a massive problem in the East African nation.
Unfortunately, women and children are at risk of suffering the effects of food insecurity the most.
WFP has called upon international partners to rush to Somalia’s security.
It commended the role Japan continues to play to improve food security in Somalia.
