Two Somali fishermen stranded in the Indian Ocean for the past 25 days have been finally rescued thus bringing to an end their harrowing experience.

Rescued 130 nautical miles off Seychelles by a Chinese vessel, their safe return highlights the significance of maritime cooperation and humanitarian efforts.
Somalia’s Ambassador to China, Dr. Hodan Osman, expressed special gratitude to the Chinese Embassy in Somalia for their role in the rescue.
She added that the strong collaboration between Somalia and China made the rescue possible.
