Twenty Al-Shabaab terrorists lost their lives in an operation undertaken in Lower Shabelle on Wednesday.
They died when Somali National Army (SNA) carried out an operation jointly with international partners.
Officers from the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) were present during the operation too.
The operation was in BeledAmin, a village in Lower Shabelle. Terrorists had gathered in the village from the wee hours of the morning.
