The 2024 Somalia Development Forum (SDF2024) kicked off in Mogadishu earlier today.
Somalia’s Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development Mohamed Beenebeene opened it officially.
In his keynote address, Beenebeene highlighted a few crucial details.
This includes the fact that the 2023 Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) report revealed Somalia attracted between $680 and $700 million in investments.
This reflects positive growth in the country’s investment landscape.
SDF2024 is organised by Somalia’s Heritage Institute for Policy Studies (HIPS) in collaboration with City University.
