21 Civilians Killed as SNA Clash with Al-Shabaab Fighters in Baghdad

Twenty-one civilians were killed when Somali National Army (SNA) troops fought with Al-Shabaab fighters in Baghdad.

SNA troops, working closely with international security partners, launched drone attacks against Al-Shabaab fighters in the area on Tuesday.

This happened as Brig. Gen. Ibrahim Muhiyidin launched the final offensive against Al-Shabaab remnants in Shabelle.

Apart from the civilians, more than 30 terrorists also lost their lives in the attack.

Seventeen civilians injured in the operation near Afgoye were rushed to Mogadishu’s Medina Hospital for medical attention.
