Twenty-three violent incidents against aid workers were reported in Somalia by June 2023.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) published this in its latest report.
According to OCHA, five of the aid workers were killed in that period.
The agency added that nine humanitarian workers were kidnapped while five others suffered injuries during the attacks in the same period.
OCHA published this report on Saturday while commemorating World Humanitarian Day.
