Security agents in Puntland conducted a military operation that led to the arrest of 25 Al-Shabaab and ISIS militants.
The operation took place on January 11 in Bosaso.
Local police officers in the region confirmed that the suspected arrested during the operation have links with both militia groups.
Hussein Ali Mohamud, Bari Regional Police Commander, assured journalists that the suspects would remain in police custody until they are presented in court.
Meanwhile, he said that proper investigations would commence to discover their involvement with the two groups.
