25 Al-Shabaab Fighters Killed as SNA Foil Their Attack in Mudug

Twenty-five Al-Shabaab fighters were killed when Somali National Army (SNA) troops foiled an attack they planned to carry out in Mudug region.

SNA troops foiled the planned terrorist attack in the Mudug village of Shabelow on Saturday.

According to a statement by authorities, Al-Shabaab militants launched an attack at a military base in Shabelow today.

Explosions and gunfire rocked the village when the attack started.

However, the military responded with their own firepower which proved too much for the militants.

Several sources confirmed that the military worked with local militia to repel the attack.

Furthermore, the military destroyed four Al-Shabaab vehicles and several weapons.
