Twenty-five officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Somalia have undergone training on financial crime investigations.
The officers, who are part of the Somali Police Force (SPF), underwent the five-day training organized by the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS).
Their training equips them with skills that allow the officers to help federal authorities to fight backers of crime and terrorism in the country.
