Twenty-seven Al-Shabaab militants have been killed in Lower Shabelle.
The militants died in a military operation undertaken on Friday.
Somali National Army (SNA) carried out the operation at Sheikhow farm, which is in Lower Shabelle.
The farm, which is roughly 16kms from Awdheegle, has been home to the terrorists for years.
Sources revealed that foreign troops helped SNA in carrying out the operation.
