Over 3.7 million Somalis had received financial assistance from the Somalia Humanitarian Fund (SHF) by June 2023.
SHF confirmed that it released funds that were received from domestic and foreign donors.
Around 1.11 million of the recipients were women while 1.2 million were young girls.
Furthermore, SHF also handed out substantial amounts to 544,000 men as well as 880,000 young boys around the country.
