Thirty Somali female journalists are attending a training program in Mogadishu.
They will participate in the training program, which kicked off on Tuesday, for the next three days.
The program seeks to establish and elevate the position of women within media circles.
Similar programs are to be held in various parts of the country.
Daud Aweis, the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, launched the program.
He encouraged the 150 feme journalists targeted in the program to attend it without fail.
