30 Health Service Providers Attend UNFPA-Sponsored Training in Puntland

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) sponsored training in Puntland for health service providers.

Around 30 health and gender-based violence (GBV) service providers attended the training, which kicked off on Saturday, June 18.

UNFPA announced that the training offers the organization a chance to work closely with other service providers to respond to the ongoing drought.

The Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) training is to last five days.

UNFPA stated that the training is evidence that it supports the full implementation of MISP across the East African country.

Further, the global organization announced that it hopes to see more people affected by the ongoing drought accessing life-saving quality GBV and SRH services.
