Thirty Somalis who have been caught up in the Ukraine-Russia war are to be evacuated in the next few days.
Somalia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation informed the public of this development on February 25.
According to a press release from the ministry, the Somali government is working hard to bring them back to the country.
The Somali nationals, including students, are caught up in the war that has broken out in Ukraine.
Russian forces continue carrying out attacks against various Ukrainian facilities.
