Thirty-seven members of Somaliland’s judiciary have been trained on litigation and judicial conduct.
The judicial officers concluded their training on March 6.
Justice Aden Haji Ali Ahmed, the Chief Justice and President of the Supreme Court of Somaliland, closed the training.
The training took place at the regional courts of Marodi-jeh, Hawd, and Gabiley.
Some of the topics covered during the training included ethics, due process of law, and important procedures each judge must follow while dispensing justice.
The judges attending the training were accorded opportunities to express their concerns.
Chief Justice Ahmed was in the company of Ali Sudi Diriye, the Chairman of the Marodi-jeh Regional Court of Appeal.
The training lasted six days.
