A local Somali legislator has been accused of revealing and sharing “baseless reports” with international organizations.
At the launch of the Financial Governance Report 2013-2023, Somali Finance Minister Bihi Egeh criticized MP Abib for disseminating what he described as “baseless reports” to international organizations.
Finance minister Egeh expressed his discontent, stating that these reports not only lack accuracy but also harm Somalia’s reputation on the global stage.
The Financial Governance Report aims to provide a comprehensive overview of Somalia’s financial progress and challenges over the past decade.
Egeh was speaking at the launch of the 2013-23 Financial Governance Report on Monday.
