The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Somalia (CBS) convened for its 85th ordinary meeting in Mogadishu on Monday.
Members of the board met to review strategic reforms and initiatives of the Central Bank.
This meeting was pivotal as it set the foundation for the new strategic plan covering 2025–2029.
Among the key topics discussed were the approval of new comprehensive budget guidelines aimed at enhancing financial governance.
These measures are expected to bolster the Central Bank’s role in stabilizing and strengthening Somalia’s financial system, aligning with broader economic development goals.
