The meeting at Villa Somalia sought to address illegal weapons smuggling in Galguduud.
The council issued directives to strengthen oversight, ban illicit arms trade, and bring perpetrators to justice, emphasizing the strict implementation of arms control procedures.
Lately, there has been an increase in the number of illegal arms and weapons in Galgadud.
The President asked security agencies to consolidate their efforts in bringing those responsible for the proliferation of weapons to book.
